"...Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling,
By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore.
‘Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,’ I said,
[‘art sure no craven,]
Ghastly grim and ancient raven wandering from the Nightly shore—
Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night's Plutonian Shore!’
Quoth the Raven, ‘Nevermore’."

Thats Ed. A drunk bastard that made one of the best poetry's I ever read.
Thanks Ed.

This is the newest project I have been working on. Its a animation for Blender! ;p

The animation design (made by Daniel Lima) pretends to imitate the classical "STOP-MOTION" animations. I tried to create a "model / shading / texture / render" which reminds of this type of animation. The background, for instance, its "paper".

The animation is not finished (Daniel Lima its working on it!) but when it get finished, I will post it here in DA.

All things, of course, were made with Blender. Some textures and other things were made in GIMP.

TV-Robot - Photo

Thats my Robot in the school on i teach 3d Blender... Its a composing using a photo and a 3d character.

The character is inspired in many designs, especially anime designs.

All the modeling, shading, lighting, textures and render made in Blender.
I made this to learn and exercise the "composite nodes" of Blender 2.42a. I use GIMP for the shadows and some adjusts... But now, in Blender 2.43 (RC3), we will have the tools to create the shadows directly in the composite nodes. Sooo... i will try to do everything in Blender first now! :P

Droid Face

Thats the face of a Droid made for a personal animation. He have the last Brain "intact" on earth and is persecuted because of that. I try to put a "human" factor on the MASK (/face) and keep all the other things very METALLIC and PLASTIC.

All the modeling, shading and render made in Blender 2.42.4.

For the modeling i use polygonal modeling, editable poly and few modifiers like mirror and SubSurf, i use extrude too.
Displacement mapping was used in the "Mask" too.
For shading e try to simulate the "SSS" in the MASK and Skul using the NODE materials. For textures i use only procedural... and only put Mirror and Refraction on little details (like "eyes"). Well... i need a fast render!
Some adjustments made in GIMP (ie. saturation, contrast...).
